Liz is a classically trained vocalist, pianist & violinist with a performance background in rock, pop, musical theatre, classical & christian hymns.
She began singing as soon as she learned how to talk; started piano lessons at the same time she was learning to read & write;
and then began studying violin in 4th grade with her school orchestra. She played with school orchestra's and choirs from grade school all the way into college.
Liz has studed with a variety of private music instructors in Colorado, California & New York And at a variety of educational institutes such as Metropolitan State College (now known as MSU) (Denver, CO), Sacramento City College, & American River College |

Liz has performed at a variety of small, medium & large venues in several different states, but her favorite of them all was Carnegie Hall in New York.
Colorado: She played with school orchestra's and sang with choirs from grade school all the way into college, including being awarded 1st chair in the middle school honor orchestra. In one of her piano recitals with Keyboard III Studio she was awarded most versatile musician. Liz has also performed in several state soloist and duet competitions and was awarded with 1st and 2nd place medals. California: Upon moving to California Liz had the opportunity to play for several local rock bands such as The Mythics, Tiny Monster Invasion & Illusions Echo. She has also been a wedding violinist for hire. Liz has played at churches, schools, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, performance halls, weddings, anniversaries, funerals, the roller derby, fairs, fundraisers and private parties. In addition to performing, Liz has been paid to write songs for local musical theatre companies, has been musical director for productions of "The Music Man" and "Evil Dead the Musical", and has written songs for film/tv/advertisements. Liz has also had the opportunity to record a few voice overs, including one for a radio advertisement. Her most current projects for ads/tv/film, cd releases and band performances are now with the songwriting and performing collaborative known as The Bitter Elegance |
